“ This is my ultimate fave burger rest. There burgers are sooo good. There homemade, when you order, you ask for either the 4oz or 6oz. If you want cheese, it's extra charge. That's bcse it's graded cheese, they don't have process cheese. They have their own homemade mayo sauce. Also have different toppings such as quacamole, spinach, bean sprouts, both cut tomatoes & spiced tomatoes. I can't remember them all. Anyone who is a Baby Boomer would remember the Mr Magoo cartoon. t's who it's named after. Inside of Magoo's is a stuffed Mr Magoo sits on a shelf. Check them out, it may be your new fave burger restaurant. There on Dundas St W & Royal York Rd. In the small plaza with Bruno's Meats. ”
“ Great old school burger joint. Very friendly service and reasonable pricing. The fries are fantastic! ”
“ Burger was unmatched. We’re talking Five Guys level on steroids, but instead it’s a classic haunt that’s been around since 1987 - and their fries are UN REAL. All the fixings included, and for free. Meal deals are good value ”
“ First time trying this place: I loved the old school burger joint/diner vibe it gave. We had the burger, hotdog, fries and onion rings, all of which were delicious. Burger was on point for flavour and the hotdog tasted fresh; much better than your typical dog. Fries are the old school style, crispy type. Onion rings are the traditional ones. I’d recommend this place to those wanting a good burger and diner experience ”
“ Straight up old school, feel good burgers! And the only place on the Kingsway I'm stopping to by to grab a bite. Poutine and Magoo Chili Fries are also very good! ”
“ I visited this place 4 days ago after not having been here for years, and by years we are talking about since my childhood. Place still looks the same but too bad the original owner Mike retired, but it is still a family run business anyways. They still serve good food, and I recommend the Dad's root beer as a drink! ”
“ Absolutely the best burgers in the city.. Have been going there since I was a kid homemade quality burgers fresh cut fries Absolutely a gem ”
“ This is truly a phenomenal place. The food is very good but the people behind the counter are even more amazing. They had the patience and interest to tell me about each topping and the menu item I was interested in, including what the ingredients were.. it seemed like a beautiful family run place. A real hidden gem. I got the vegetarian veggie burger and poutine fries. The wonderful, older, lady behind the counter clarified to me that the brown gravy wasn't beef. A really interesting topping for the burger were sprouts, absolutely stunning and crunchy and healthy. I wish they had another outlet closer to downtown. Definitely gonna go out of my way to get food from here. ”
